Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Sri Jeevana Jyothi Constructions ("SJJ", "we", "us") collects when you use this website or book a service, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Who we are

Sri Jeevana Jyothi Constructions provides building construction, interior design and home services in Hospet. Our office: Beside Bosch service center, Bellary by-pass Road, Sai colony, M.P. Prakash nagar, Hospet, Vijayanagara Dist., Karnataka.

2. Information we collect

  • Booking details: your name, mobile number, service address (address lines, landmark, town, pincode), the services you choose, your preferred date and time, and any description of the work.
  • Location: the GPS position or map pin you share at booking, so our professional can reach you. We only ask when you tap the button; you can also point the location on the map instead.
  • Payment details: the UPI transaction ID (UTR) you choose to enter for the ₹199 visiting charge. Payments happen in your own UPI app — we never see or store your UPI PIN, card or bank details.
  • Quote requests: the name, phone, email and project details you send through the quote form.
  • Messages and calls: what you send us on WhatsApp or tell us on the phone.
  • Staff accounts: for people who ask for admin access — name, email, mobile and a scrambled (hashed) password. We never store the password itself.
  • Security information: your network (IP) address is used for a short time to block spam and password guessing. It is stored only as a one-way code, not as the address itself.

3. How we use it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

  • To schedule your visit, send the right professional and contact you about the booking.
  • To check your visiting-charge payment and confirm your booking.
  • To confirm the work is finished (a one-time code is sent to your mobile at the end of the service).
  • To prepare quotes for construction and interior projects you ask about.
  • To keep the website safe — stopping spam, fake bookings and break-in attempts.
  • To keep the records the law requires (for example accounts and tax).

4. Who we share it with

Only with the people and services needed to deliver what you asked for:

  • The SJJ professional assigned to your job (name, phone, address, location and job details).
  • Our technology providers, who store or process data for us: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (booking database), MSG91 (sending the completion OTP by SMS), WhatsApp / Meta (when you message us), and OpenStreetMap (map images when you use the map — your device loads these directly).
  • Government or legal authorities, when the law requires it.

5. Where your data is kept

Our website and database providers may store data on servers outside India. They are reputable providers that protect data with encryption and access controls.

On your own phone or computer, the website keeps your cart, address and recent bookings in the browser so you don't have to type them again. You can clear this any time by clearing the site data in your browser. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Staff who log in to the admin panel get a secure login cookie.

6. How long we keep it

We keep booking information for as long as we need it to provide the service, handle follow-ups and complaints, and meet legal record-keeping requirements. Security records are deleted automatically within a few days. You can ask us to delete your information earlier (see below), unless the law requires us to keep it.

7. How we protect it

The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), the database can only be reached by our own server, staff need a password to see bookings, and repeated failed logins or spam are blocked automatically. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you if a breach affects you, as the law requires.

8. Your rights

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will reply within a reasonable time.

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or update it.
  • Ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent for future use.
  • Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.
  • Raise a complaint with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.

9. Children

Bookings must be made by adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; important changes will be shown on the website.
